Raw Actor Studio

A Cinematic Graffiti Alley Built for Performance & Self-Tape Storytelling
Raw Actors Studio’s director approached me to create a mural that could function as a street backdrop for student reels and performances inside the studio. The challenge was making an indoor wall feel authentically cinematic rather than decorative, while celebrating the craft of acting. I developed a concept inspired by the director’s favorite films, blending cinematic motifs with layered graffiti textures to build a dense alleyway environment that actors could interact with naturally on camera.
The finished mural transformed the studio into a versatile set, giving actors an urban location while reinforcing the studio’s identity as a place rooted in film culture and creative expression.
